He's O.N.E.

Oh, my how this year has flown by! I cannot believe my precious baby boy has been in our lives for a year already. It seems like just yesterday that I was sitting down to write Our Birth Story! I cannot write much this morning, well, because I have a one year old who wants to play with me :-) So let me just say this,

We love you more and more each day. We are so very thankful that the Lord chose us to be your parents. You bring so much joy and happiness into our lives, and for that we are thankful!

If the Shirt Fits...

In celebration of our nation's birthday, I made Carter a cute little shirt to wear on this past Monday - the 4th of July!

Well, it turns out that if you make a toddler a shirt that says "Little Firecracker," you shouldn't expect him to sit still long enough for mommy to take his picture in it :-)

This was the best I got...

We had a Happy 4th of July though, and I hope you did too!

Leavin' on a Jet Plane

Well, we're headed to Seattle today...please pray for our plane flight. Kevin and I are pretty nervous because as you might guess - the little guy doesn't like to sit still much less sit in our laps for one 2 hour and one 5 hour plane ride!

This could be interesting.....

On another note, we cannot WAIT to see Aunt Bebe and Uncle Jason tonight!!!!!!!!!
