Latest and Greatest: Nursery Update

I told you I'd update you on the nursery after we got the crib ready. Well, it's ready - the nursery is officially ready! Did you hear that Miles? It's safe for you to come out now... Here are some pictures of the completed nursery:

I love the way it turned out, and I must say...I'm even getting pretty ready to spend a lot of time in here again rocking and feeding and snuggling!

Nursery Update

My mom came up to visit for a few days, and we worked hard! My mom loves a good project, so my project for her time here was to finish everything that needed doing before Miles is born :-) Ha! It was no small goal, but we (almost) accomplished everything on my "MUST be done before baby" list. I still have a few things here and there, but nothing major. Thanks, Mom!!!! Here are some pictures of our nursery. I don't have pictures of the whole crib yet because we still have a few things to do to make it baby-ready.

I made his lamp shade...I'll show you how in a later post.

Kevin made the shelf and squares and painted the plane & train, Mom and I painted the letters!

We are also completely prepared in the diaper/wipe area now thanks to our wonderful Sunday School class. I had a diaper and wipe shower the other day with my good friend Sandra (who had her baby boy this morning!). Thank you to all our wonderful friends! We are blessed.

Third Trimester

Hello 3rd Trimester!

I wish I could say that I was ready for you. Here I am at week 27.

Yep, I'm pregnant...

I've been working on the new nursery art lately, and I really like how it turned out - the theme is transportation.

We still don't have a name for Baby #2... We have to name him soon though, because I've got an idea for how I'll do his name in the nursery. This will be my inspiration, although I think I'm going to get Kevin to make it like a shelf, so that I can put some things above it. We shall see.
