Bamie's Graduation

This past weekend, we traveled to Dayton, TN to celebrate my lil' sister's graduation from Bryan College! I cannot believe she's done with school. In some ways, she is still 10 years old in my brain (that's how old she was when I left for college)! We love "Aunt Bamie" so very much, and we are so proud of her accomplishments. It was a wonderful weekend of family and fun. We wouldn't have missed it for the world!

On Sunday - Mother's Day - we all went on a hike at a place called "Pocket." We enjoyed throwing rocks in the water and soaking up the beautiful day with family. 

These boys are precious to me...just precious. So blessed to be their mama!

5 Months Mark

Miles turned 5 months old last week, and I got a picture of him and his brother :)

Yes, that is a look of mischief and terror...

They are going to be so close! I don't want to wish away any part of life, but I cannot wait until they can play together.

I'll be back later (probably closer to 6 months) to do his 5 Month Blog. For now the pictures will have to do as the marker of this milestone because we have more than 24 hours of driving/riding in the car between now and this coming Sunday (North Carolina and back then Mississippi and back). What's that you hear? It is not me cheering or getting excited...

Yes, I do believe we will be stopping at every Chick-Fil-A between here and there, so that C-man can play and I can get a milk shake :)

The Zoo

There are a few things I want to catch-up on here in blog-land. One of those things is our zoo trip. A while back - when my sister was here visiting - we went to the Birmingham Zoo. We went with my Parents, Sisters, Aunt, Uncle, Cousins and their children. We had blast!

When you go to the zoo, you get to look through/around/over lots of fences.

You get to touch some animals - you try to touch others - and you just wish you could touch the rest :)

You learn that Gorillas are really big!

It's a great place to spend time with family!

It was super special to have Aunt Bebe here from Washington state! Miles wasn't too sure what was going on, but he went along for the ride :)

Did you know there are bubbles at the zoo? Well, there are - LOTS of bubbles!!!

It was such a fun day. We will definitely be going back to the zoo!

Cousins!

We journeyed to Jacksonville, FL this past weekend to visit Kevin's brother and his family. We had a blast!  I just love it when Carter gets to play with his cousins! I also love our time with Brett and Michelle. Some of mine and Kevin's favorite childhood memories involve cousins though. We live 10 hours away, but we try to get together as often as possible - especially since (for now) these are C-man's only cousins. Most of the time we meet in the middle, but every once in a while, we make it all the way down to Florida. We had a really fun weekend enjoying family.
