I was discouraged yesterday...really discouraged, and God spoke these verses to my heart. I thought I'd share them with you!
What a friend we have in Jesus,all our sins and griefs to bear!What a privilege to carryeverything to God in prayer!O what peace we often forfeit,O what needless pain we bear,all because we do not carryeverything to God in prayer.Have we trials and temptations?Is there trouble anywhere?We should never be discouraged;take it to the Lord in prayer.Can we find a friend so faithfulwho will all our sorrows share?Jesus knows our every weakness;take it to the Lord in prayer.Are we weak and heavy laden,cumbered with a load of care?Precious Savior, still our refuge;take it to the Lord in prayer.Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?Take it to the Lord in prayer!In his arms he'll take and shield thee;thou wilt find a solace there.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

I love it! Last weekend I got VERY down and couldn't put my finger on the reason - after having a wonderful time at a women's conference at church and really being in the Word for the day and with other godly women I finally came to the conclusion that the enemy was just out to attack me and my spirit. He was doing all he could to distract me from all the good things I had just learned and was eager to do in my life - he was coming between me and God...I finally yelled at him while driving home from the grocery store (literally yelled at the devil to leave me alone as loud as I could - thankfully no one else was in the car!). I also cried out to God to comfort me and remind me He is always there and he doesn't bring all these negative emotions...your verses are great to hear! Sorry for sharing so much :)
