Being a mommy is by far WAY better than I ever dreamed it would be! That's probably because I have the best baby in the whole world (I'm not biased or anything ;-) However, I find myself taking showers at 1, 3, and 5pm....depending on the day! Carter is my number one priority, so he gets a bath and is dressed during the morning hours. Then, while he is awake, I spend my time playing with him. While he is asleep, I find myself doing chores around the house. At this point in the year, I don't want to take a shower before chores are done because I sweat so badly while doing them! After chores are done, I find time to eat and relax (AKA: tv/computer time). This brings me to 1, 3, or sometimes even 5 pm.......with no shower!
I do WAY better when we actually have a "plan" for the day though. Like when I meet people for lunch or have a doctor's appointment.....or pretty much any day that I'm not planning to stay around the house. This leads me to the conclusion that I think I need a schedule for myself! I need to prioritize my day.
Until I figure out some kind of schedule, you might not want to stop by my house unannounced....it's not a pretty site ;-)
Any suggestions, moms???

I'm just impressed that at Carter's age you get to shower at all! Right now it's 1 and I haven't showered yet. But I still have one more walk, some chores to finish, and lunch to feed...then I'll get to shower!
Haha, yeah - I guess I should be glad I do indeed get to shower :-) Glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't shower until after lunch!!!
I would put Aubri in her bouncy seat in the bathroom with me while I took my shower. Usually she was pretty content with her pacifier and me peeking out to say hello once in a while. If she was fussy, she loved the hairdryer and it calmed her down. Now if I don't shower before she gets up, I'll still sit her in her seat and give her toys to play with.
