You know those days where you are running late, and you don't have time to make your lunch? Yeah, I have those all the time. Unfortunately, eating out is not really an option for me at all times (at least that's what Kevo says), so I have to come up with other options. Here are a few of my favorite grab-n-go items!Main Course Items:

Side/Snack Items:

Dessert Course Items:

Grab a few of these things, and you've got a meal consisting of pasta, a side, and a dessert (possibly with a midday snack mixed in :-) Unfortunately, the healthiness of most of the above items is not amazing (although I guess it could be worse!!).
While I'm talking about snack foods - one little treat that I cannot get enough of is:
That's right, Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes are my FAVORITE! Kevo puts these in my stocking every year....one of the many reasons I love Christmas!Have you found any grab-n-go items that you love (healthy...or not!)? I'd love to expand my pantry!
PS - Yes, I still eat like I'm in elementary school :-)

I'm afraid my snack items are not as fun as those. I do love the c'mas tree cakes. I eat yogurt, apples, the fruti frozen fruit pops and baked lays. Blah.
Those fruti frozen pops are a good find though! I need to become a member of Sams!
Definite yes to Christmas tree cakes - they are inexplicably delicious. I take a Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice microwaveable meal to work almost every day. When I shop for them, I just get whichever one is on sale - I end up paying about $1.50-$2.50 per meal, plus a few cents for Kroger's Carbmaster yogurt. It does get old, though... thanks to you, I am now craving EasyMac. :)
