October Beach Visits & Cabin Fever

So we are going to the beach this weekend! I've never been to the beach during the off-season. I don't know what to expect....

??????????????????????????????????????????????????

I'm certainly not that excited about getting into a bathing suit (I've already gotten started on my layer of "warmth" for the winter). However, I could use a little bit of sunshine =) Kevin and I are pretty ready to travel somewhere, so I think his weekend will be exactly what we need. A nice change of scenery/activity for a weekend before we burrow down into our winter hole! I'm really not too excited about this winter. I already have cabin fever (AKA: Ready to Buy a House Syndrome), and the winter causes me to stay inside even more than before! Maybe as I'm curled up by a fire I can research house possibilities online!

AFTER RETURNING FROM THE BEACH TRIP...

We ended up having a GREAT time at the beach! It was just what we needed before coming back to Huntsville to begin Wintering Down. Check out the pictures from the fun weekend with the family! This was also the first time I had met my 2 first cousins once removed (Silas & Lia - AKA the cute kids in all the pictures) and Lee (the boy playing with Kevin in the pool). I was thankful that there was finally someone around who had as much energy as Kevin - a 6th grade boy!!!

You may have "Cabin Fever", but I've been having "Baby Fever" like crazy. I'm so wanting another little one. I'm not so interested in being sick again or any of that, but I want another baby! We're still not trying or anything - still preventing, but I can't wait to see what happens in the next 7-8 months. Hopefully, we will be on our way to giving Layla a little brother or sister :) I still think it would be so neat if we had children around the same time. We could go through all the changes together. It's so nice to have someone to go through pregnancy with. I was so lucky to have Jackie and a few other friends to talk to last time. Anyway, I hope the house hunting goes well. Good luck, and have fun at the beach this weekend!
